Achieving Success of High Viral Load Coverage, Suppression & Retention Among Children and Adolescents Living with HIV in Eswatini

Overview

Children and adolescents living with HIV (CALHIV) consistently experience sub-optimal treatment success and outcomes compared to adults across the cascade of care. This is due to the unique challenges they face throughout their care and treatment experience. These factors have negative impacts on their treatment outcomes including retention in care, as well as achieving and sustaining an undetectable viral load (VL).  This brief describes EGPAF efforts in Eswatini in achieving high viral load coverage, suppression, and retention among CALHIV in the country.
