The objective of this CDC-funded study was to identify and address social and behavioral factors associated with reduced care seeking to increase antenatal care (ANC) and outpatient department attendance in Western Kenya. This study also aimed to understand the health facility challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and attempted to improve the desire to seek care and the quality of care provided, while ensuring health care workers had adequate protection against COVID-19.
