This goal of this Children’s Investment Fund Foundation-funded study was to describe the process of clinical mentorship and to identify the benefit of clinical mentorship and clinical attachment as a capacity building tool for health care workers initiating pregnant and lactating women and children on ART in Zimbabwe. The study assessed training retention among health care workers and made recommendations for improving the capacity-building package.
