This USAID-funded, two-arm randomized study evaluated the effectiveness of an enhanced intervention package designed to improve active patient tracing activities for HIV-positive mothers and their infants. The intervention package included tools and mentorship to improve operational training and support, and data flow and documentation, as well as a systematic review of processes to improve communication, coordination, and supervision between community health workers and facility-based staff.
