Pediatric and Adolescent Testing, Care, and Treatment
This study, supported by USAID’s Project SOAR, evaluated the effect of implementing a family-centered model of care program on viral suppression and retention in children through the enrollment of a prospective cohort of HIV-infected children and their caregivers in Swaziland. The mixed methods study also assessed factors associated with viral suppression and retention, and evaluated the acceptability of the family-centered model by caregivers and healthcare providers.
