The goal of this Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF)-funded study was to test whether providing community-based, peer facilitator-led support for pregnant and postpartum women improved maternal and child health (MCH) and PMTCT program uptake and adherence to health care recommendations. Health outcomes were compared between eight intervention sites and eight control sites in Zimbabwe.
