Celebrities in Concert to Benefit Foundation’s Mission for an HIV-Free Generation

December 16, 2011, New York, New York – This Saturday, “Glee” star Darren Criss will join the Yale Whiffenpoofs at the Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City for a benefit concert featuring the nation’s premier collegiate a cappella groups.
The second annual Sing Out, Raise Hope concert is presented by the Association of Yale Alumni and the Yale Whiffenpoofs Alumni Association, and will benefit the lifesaving programs of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and The Trevor Project (www.TheTrevorProject.org).
The evening will feature a cappella renditions of American jazz classics, holiday favorites, and contemporary pop hits. Previous celebrity guest-performers have also included Idina Menzel, Deborah Cox, and Ethan Bortnick.
One of three annual benefit concerts produced in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco by the Association of Yale Alumni and the Yale Whiffenpoofs, Sing Out, Raise Hope brings together the talents and resources of notable alumni and student groups from Ivy League universities Yale, Harvard, and Princeton.
