Changes in the HIV epidemic – including population needs, technologies, and the virus itself — challenge us to rapidly adapt our approach and adopt new tools. 

Since its founding, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) has embraced game-changing innovations in order to reach our mission and goals: supporting ground-breaking HIV research, introduction and scale-up of adult and pediatric antiretroviral treatment (ART) in low resource settings, provision of services to prevent mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV, and decentralization of HIV service delivery, among other program interventions. Our Strategic Plan 2020-2025 emphasizes innovation as a core value that will advance EGPAF’s efforts to effectively end pediatric HIV.

With its extensive service delivery platform, on-the-ground experience, and collaboration with national governments and local partners, EGPAF is well-placed to introduce, evaluate and bring innovation to scale through our programming, while translating evidence into policy and action through targeted advocacy.
