Malezi I Program Evaluation

This mixed methods study evaluated the Hilton Foundation-funded Malezi Program, which aimed to help children reach their full cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and developmental potential by integrating early childhood development (ECD) messages and practices into facility and community-based services for maternal, newborn, and child health in Tanzania. Using a pre/post design, this evaluation assessed changes in levels of knowledge, attitudes, and practices associated with ECD among health providers, community health workers, community leaders, and caregivers of children under 5 years after the implementation of the Malezi Program.
