Exploring Interventions to Improve Male Involvement in ANC/PMTCT and Delivery Services Using Formative and Participatory-based Approaches in Kinshasa, DRC

This exploratory study, funded by the UCLA Dance Marathon, documented the barriers and facilitators to male involvement in antenatal care (ANC) and delivery services, gathered evidence on interventions currently implemented in facilities, and described potential new interventions for increasing male involvement in DRC. Study results were used to inform PMTCT programming and improve services for male and female clients.
