AIDSFree is a five-year U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded cooperative agreement led by JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc., with partners Abt Associates, Inc., EnCompass LLC, IMA World Health, the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, Jhpiego Corporation, and PATH. Under this project, EGPAF is implementing a curriculum-driven, community-level home visiting and mentoring program for pregnant adolescents and adolescent mothers in Kenya focused on improving HIV and other health and social outcomes for at-risk pregnant adolescents/mothers (10-19) and their children (through 18 months of age). The model consists of three components: peer-led mentoring; targeted support to address structural barriers to care, decrease stigma and discrimination, and mobilize social support; and quality assurance supervision.
