For the first time in history, ending pediatric HIV is not just possible — it’s within reach.

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) has spent 37 years preventing pediatric HIV and has averted 410,000 new HIV cases.

But 330 children under 15 still acquire HIV daily.

Their mothers aren’t different from mothers anywhere. They want healthy babies. Many know their HIV status. Many have access to treatment. But final barriers can be nearly impossible to overcome in real-world conditions: difficulty adhering to medication when clinics are far, when stigma is real, when side effects are hard.

Generation Zero is our commitment to seize this moment and drive new pediatric HIV infections down to zero. We have the tools. We have the expertise. We have the partnerships.

What we need now is urgency.

Achieving Generation Zero means

moms worry about passing HIV to their babies
Zero
children worry about taking daily HIV medicine
Zero
new pediatric HIV cases occur

Our Solution

We’re embedded in 12 of the 18 highest-burden countries with systems built, providers trained, and supply chains ready. The innovations that solve those real-world barriers exist. The infrastructure exists. For the first time, they’re converging.
