INTEGrating Ag-RDTs for COVID-19 in MNCH, HIV and TB Services in Cameroon and Kenya

This Unitaid-funded cluster randomized trial will determine the SARS-CoV-2 case detection rate in facilities randomized to the standard “screen and test” model of SARS-CoV-2 Ag-RDT compared to a “test all” model of SARS-CoV-2 Ag-RDT in MNCH, HIV and TB clinics. The study will follow SARS-CoV-2-positive patients to describe their illness and clinical outcomes under each model and conduct a survey with health care providers to assess their perceptions on the feasibility and acceptability of integrating SARS-CoV-2 Ag-RDT in their clinics. A time motion survey will assess the time associated with integrating SARS-CoV-2 Ag-RDT in MNCH, HIV, and TB clinics and a analysis will be conducted to assess the costs associated with each model.
