The Problem
Today, children and adolescents remain the most neglected group in the HIV response.
Founded 35 years ago through a mother’s determination, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) is driven to see a world where no other mother, child, or family is devastated by HIV and AIDS.
We’ve seen incredible success in pediatric HIV and AIDS. But while childhood infections have dropped by 95 percent in the U.S., millions still lack treatment. Every week, nearly 10,000 young people become newly infected. Appallingly, children are 5% of new HIV infections, but 15% of deaths.
Ten years ago, we were anticipating an “AIDS-free generation.” Today, we are working to keep progress from slipping away. Consistent and continued attention to emerging innovations is critical for achieving an HIV-free generation.

EGPAF in Action
This is a special moment in the global AIDS response, where innovation, service delivery, and political will can come together to end inequities for children. Achieving an AIDS-free generation will require new approaches and tactics that respond to a shifting epidemic. EGPAF works in 20 countries around the world and our Innovation Incubator allows us to rapidly test new ideas, approaches, delivery models, and cutting-edge technology developments that adapt our programs.
Partnership Benefits
EGPAF will work with each partner to develop tailored partnership models and agreements based on potential benefits for public recognition, networking, and employee engagement.

Become a part of the Innovation Incubator today
EGPAF is seeking partners for our Innovation Incubator for an AIDS-free Generation to achieve and sustain our mission of ending AIDS in children, youth and families. Your partnership with us can leverage new technologies and innovative solutions to tackle complex challenges in program implementation, operations, and delivery.
Flexible private sector funding and in-kind support can enable us to identify, pilot, and scale promising programs to raise awareness and advocacy; improve data collection, analysis, and management; build mobile platforms for behavior change; and strengthen in-country supply chain management.
