Yes! We Can End TB: Increasing Political Leadership and Investments to Address the Persistent Policy-Practice Gap for Children and Adolescents
Overview
Tuberculosis (TB) is the second leading infectious killer after COVID-19, despite it being preventable, treatable, and curable. Among children, the problem is even worse. TB is the sixth highest cause of death in children under five years, including many children living with HIV.
In this webinar, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) and partners explore the crisis around childhood and adolescent TB. In advance of World TB Day (March 24), the experts discuss ways to address the persistent policy and practice challenges to achieving national and global targets.
