Malezi II Program Evaluation

This two-year population-based study, funded by the Hilton Foundation, assessed two Malezi II interventions in Tanzania. The study evaluated the effect of the Malezi II radio messaging (MR) intervention on caregiver awareness of children’s developmental needs, the extent to which the Malezi II MRV-CCD intervention increased caregiver knowledge and practices, and the effect of Malezi II training and video job aids on the quality of community health worker counseling support, provided in clinics and home.
