The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation in Lesotho

Overview

HIV is the leading cause of death in Lesotho, affecting nearly a quarter of the population. Since 2004, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation has collaborated with Lesotho’s Ministry of Health. Through this partnership we have had the honor of standing beside Lesotho’s leadership as they moved new HIV infections from 24,000 per year in 2004, to 7,000 in 2021.
