Global Fund – Technical Assistance – Leveraging DSD evidence, best practice and tools

Overview

This three-year, Global Fund-financed award will allow EGPAF to
1: Support the country to improve access and scale up of ethical, effective, evidence-based differentiated HIV testing strategies to reach spouses of pregnant and breastfeeding women, including partner notification; and
2: Support the country to facilitate and strengthen HIV linkages and retention to care among spouses of pregnant and breast feeding women attending ANC.
Through this work, EGPAF intends to increase the number of spouses of pregnant women screened using the self-test from 1.13% to 5% and increase the the proportion of spouses of seropositive pregnant women tested and put on ART to 90%.
