Supporting Mothers, Children, and Families
Thank you, Jewelers for Children!
Last month, members of the jewelry industry gathered in Las Vegas to celebrate Jewelers for Children’s (JFC) Annual Facets of Hope event. EGPAF began our partnership with JFC as a Legacy Charity in 1998, when there was a dire call to support international mothers, children, and families facing the greatest burden of HIV, who need our help the most. Jake Glaser, EGPAF Ambassador, spoke at the event and shared his perspective on our global impact and the generosity of donors like JFC making it possible for those with HIV to live healthy, thriving lives.
On Sunday, August 29, JFC renewed its longstanding support of EGPAF and revealed a generous 2021 commitment of $150,000. Thanks to JFC, with continued partnership, we are creating a hopeful and healthy reality for families around the world that few could have imagined when our partnership began over twenty years ago.
To celebrate the global impact of EGPAF and JFC, EGPAF debuted a video featuring Dee Mphafi, who shared her story as a new mother, wife, and peer counselor for HIV programs in Lesotho. Dee has been living with HIV since her teenage years, but both her husband and their baby remain HIV-negative.
EGPAF provides lifesaving HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment services to children, youth and families around the world, which is possible due to the generosity of our esteemed partners like JFC.
Together, we are fighting for an AIDS-free generation.
