This publication, featured in the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, describes clinical characteristics, laboratory features, and outcomes of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in the Democratic Republic of Congo and to differentiate them from other non-African populations, giving special attention to coinfection or comorbidity with noncommunicable diseases.
