This issue of Haba Na Haba, EGPAF’s annual technical bulletin, focuses on increasing the use of innovations to reach 95-95-95 targets by 2030. Herein, we discuss implementation experiences with point-of-care diagnostic technology to address gaps in early infant diagnosis, TB detection, HIV viral load testing, and HPV identification and linkage to treatment. We also define scale-up strategies needed and implemented in the areas of optimal pediatric ARV access and management of advanced HIV disease.

HPV Vaccination Uptake and Acceptability of HPV/HIV Integrated Services Models for Adolescent Girls in Mozambique and Zimbabwe

This study found that integrating HPV vaccination into HIV prevention and treatment services in Mozambique and Zimbabwe significantly increased vaccine uptake among girls at heightened risk of HPV and cervical cancer, while achieving high caregiver acceptance and satisfaction with the integrated care model.
