About this Event
Adolescents and youth living with HIV (AYLHIV) are a particularly vulnerable population. They traditionally experience worse clinical outcomes compared to other age cohorts along the HIV cascade. In fact, AIDS is the second leading cause of death globally and the leading cause in Africa for adolescents.
The Red Carpet Program (RCP) is a multifaceted suite of services tailored to adolescents and young people (15-24 years) living with HIV that aims to increase linkage and improve retention for this population in HIV prevention, care, and treatment.
In this webinar, we focused on what this program entails, how it was implemented, to what result, and how it affected the lives of the adolescents it aimed to serve.
