The PUSH consortium, composed of EGPAF and sub-partners LENASO, LENEPWHA, and LPPA, is helping to dramatically expand population coverage of HIV prevention, testing, care, and treatment services and to strengthen retention in care. The original goal of PUSH was to utilize a prioritized district approach to institutionalize interventions that sustain reduction in HIV transmission, morbidity, and mortality in order to maintain the national tipping point for ART and saturate the coverage of HIV clinical care and treatment services to 80% of the district populations of PLHIV, while maintaining the quality of clinical service delivery using QI interventions. Working in 107 sites in 4 districts (Maseru, Mafeteng, Mohale’s Hoek, and Thaba Tseka), PUSH is now geared towards accelerating towards epidemic control.
