Funded by CDC, Project Keneya Dougou aims to strengthen the technical and organizational capacity of CBOs and government-run social centers to effectively manage HIV prevention. Keneya Dougou’s primary goal is to create a sustainable local response to HIV by ensuring those of most vulnerable to HIV, including adolescent girls and young women, adult men, and mobile populations, are protected and treated through strengthened HIV prevention, testing, and care services. The project was designed as a response to the needs of orphans and vulnerable children, their families and caregivers, and people living with HIV.
