Under DELTA, EGPAF’s technical assistance to Cameroon has been focused on strengthening health worker expertise in the management of pediatric HIV and implementation of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) 2015 guidelines recommending lifelong ART initiation among all infected with HIV – as opposed to previous guidelines recommending access to ART in the case of advanced disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding.
