This quasi- experimental, pre- post intervention study conducted in 30 selected health facilities of Abidjan will include four data collection components: (1) a pre-post intervention evaluation of the effectiveness of the AHD package of care based on retrospective abstraction of routinely collected data; (2) prospective follow-up of a cohort of participants with AHD to document demographic, clinical, and laboratory characteristics, disease progression, and patient outcomes during the implementation; (3) a survey of participants and health care providers; and (4) an evaluation of the cost of the AHD intervention.
