Emish Ondiek’s Source of Strength

How a Young Kenyan Pharmacist Practices Resilience

Emish Ondiek grew up in in a fishing community along the shore of Lake Victoria in Kenya, loving science and dreaming of becoming a doctor. But he also grew up experiencing significant stigma for his HIV status.

Rather than let that define him, Emish found strength from the mother he never knew. His story is all about what it means to go beyond.
