With Jewelers for Children by our side, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation continues to provide critical care to children, youth, and families around the world. Every day we fight for an AIDS-free generation. JFC’s support moves us forward.

Costing Metrics:

As an example of the scale and importance of JFC’s annual impact on the lives of children in need, please consider the following metrics:

$12 can provide an HIV-positive child access to lifesaving HIV treatment for one month.
$20 can provide HIV testing and counseling for 4 pregnant women – the first step in preventing transmission.
$50 can provide HIV testing and counseling for 2 children – who are harder to reach than adults.
$70 can provide HIV treatment to a pregnant woman for one year.
$100 can give an HIV-positive child access to lifesaving HIV treatment for eight months.
$250 can send an HIV-positive child to an Ariel camp for support.

In 2021, EGPAF:

Tested nearly 340,000 children under the age of 15 for HIV
Supported more than 74,000 pregnant women with prenatal health services
Provided more than 1.1 million HIV-positive people with antiretroviral therapy – including nearly 45,000 HIV-positive pregnant women, to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV
