Emmy-nominated actor Mason Cook joined the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) as an Ambassador after appearing at the 2017 “Up for the Fight” Dance Marathon at UCLA. Galvanized by the dedication of other students and young people to eradicating pediatric HIV/AIDS, Mason jumped in to help EGPAF raise awareness about its work, enlist allies, and expand its ability to provide services worldwide.
“As an Ambassador, I’m looking forward to engaging the next generation of advocates, because their support is crucial to maintaining the momentum needed to finally end this epidemic. In my lifetime alone, EGPAF and its partners have worked to lower the rate of new pediatric HIV infections by 70%. We’re so close to the finish line, and I’m honored and excited to be a part of the movement that will help us cross it.”
In addition to his EGPAF Ambassadorship, Mason also works with Shane’s Inspiration, a global non-profit working to build inclusive playgrounds accessible to children with disabilities.
