What We're Doing

More than 20 years ago, Elizabeth Glaser realized there was a moment to act—to change attitudes, demand action, and give a voice to children and families affected by HIV and AIDS. Her efforts inspired a movement that resulted in the near-eradication of pediatric AIDS in the United States and Europe.
Today, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation is working to replicate that success around the world to achieve our ultimate goal: a generation free of HIV.

The Foundation has emerged as an international leader in the fight against pediatric AIDS, focusing its efforts on three core areas:
Launching and supporting prevention, care, and treatment programs
Since 2000, the Foundation has supported expanded access to comprehensive HIV prevention, and later to HIV care and treatment services, in regions of the world deeply affected by HIV and AIDS.
