Tunaweza Discs by Poor Cat Designs
At the 2010 A Time For Heroes Celebrity Picnic, we debuted our new Tunaweza discs, specially designed for the Foundation by Poor Cat Designs. Tunaweza is a word in Swahili that means, “Together, we can,” symbolizing the Foundation’s commitment to join together with its partners and supporters to eliminate pediatric AIDS.
The discs, which can be worn as bracelets or necklaces, were a huge hit at the picnic, and celebrities — including Tea Leoni, Mark Wahlberg, Carmen Electra, and Jesse McCartney — wore their discs in support of the Foundation’s mission.
The sale of just one Tunaweza bracelet could help the Foundation to reach 13 women with the services they need to deliver babies free from HIV. That means that with your support, 13 babies could have the chance at a healthy, productive life.
You can purchase your own Tunaweza disc for $200, and 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit the Foundation’s lifesaving programs for children, women, and families.
Together, we can eliminate pediatric AIDS.
