Effect of Family Support Groups on Retention in HIV Care among HIV-positive Women Initiated on Antiretroviral Treatment through PMTCT Programmes (Option B+) in Selected EGPAF-supported Health Facilities in Uganda

This USAID-funded study assessed the effect of Family Support Groups (FSGs) on retention in care among HIV-positive women initiating ART under Option B+ in Uganda. The study also examined clinical and demographic characteristics associated with women retained in care and those more likely to participate in FSGs.
